If you look to the right you will see my Favorite web stops. One is titled Nate, Tricia, and Gwyneth. If you've never checked it out... it's time. It's time for you to check it out and it's time for me to tell you a little about them.
No, I don't know them personally. I honestly don't know anyone who does know them personally. That is part of the miraculous in the blog-o-sphere. I can't even remember which blog I found them on but once I visited I was hooked. The back story:
Tricia was born with Cystic Fibrosis. She and Nate married a few years ago. They tried to get pregnant, but after a while of unsuccessful trying Tricia's health had deteriorated to the point that they had to stop. Nate, Tricia and the team of doctor's began preparing to put Tricia on the double lung transplant list when they found out that Tricia was pregnant. God had chosen to answer Tricia's secret prayer, "that He would give her a miracle baby". Tricia was able to carry Gwyneth for a little over half the pregnancy, but the beginning of January Tricia underwent surgery to have a Tracheotomy put in and during that surgery they had to do an emergency c-section and deliver Gwyneth. Gwyneth weighed around 1.5 lbs. Both Tricia and Gwyneth have been in the hospital since. Tricia has recovered well and is now on the transplant list and Gwyneth is growing. (It's very possible that I have gotten some of the facts of this story wrong, but the overall picture is true.) Tricia got to hold Gwyneth for the first time last Tuesday. God is so good.
You will be blessed by this family and the story God is telling through them. Also, Gwyneth was found last night to have some fluid on her lungs so please pray that God heals her lungs and continues to allow her to grow.
Their story will teach you many things (like how important it is to be an organ donor) and their faith is very uplifting.
It's time.
